Hot Rods from Hell reference?

Anyone recognize the reference made in "the parking space" episode to the 60's movie Hot Rods from Hell? I hope I have the correct name of the movie. Elaine was using the general plot of the movie when she was telling Jerry what happened to his car when George and she were driving it to his place. The scene she was referring to has this family driving down a very quiet highway on there way to a vacation spot when along comes a souped up "hot rod" with a bunch of teenagers in it. The kids proceed to drive the family, especially the father crazy with fright. It was a bad movie but the kind that sticks in your mind. I guess it must have stuck in the mind of Jerry or L.
