Was tonight's episode lame or what? The jokes fell flat, and that stupid subplot about Elaine being forced to hang out with a puking junkie going through detox withdrawals -- that's comedy? When Seinfeld is on, he's on.

It's called a Rikshaw, and I thought the show was great... the dream sequence at the beginning, Peterman's "bring a poncho", and the deal with the book going into the bathroom w/ George and everyone thinks it's infected with a virus, great.

i don't think that was a dream sequence in the beginning! i assumed it all really happened.. am i wrong? :)

Its a new big mystery. I thought it was real, and Kramer was just sleeping at the end because he was tired of messing up and fixing Jerry's apartment.

How would he have had time to get the couch cleaned up or even invite all those people to the party? I don't think there's any way he could have got the phone back together even in a month of Sundays. I looked like it was in a million pieces, totally FUBAR. We know Kramer isn't the most practical minded individual ...how many of Jerry's things has he broken? (the intercom, the walkman, the car, the pliers etc).

So my guess is he was either dreaming or tripping :)

I watched Seinfeld last night, for the first time in several months. I had
given up on this season after the first few episodes, when it seemed to me
that they were really out of good ideas, and the comedy just feel too flat
for me.
	I wanted to see if it had improved at all. Well, slightly, perhaps
- I did like the book flagging and some parts of the shoplifting plot; and
the Kramer intro ended wonderfully.  But the Elaine subplot had only a few
grins for me, and several groans.  The thread about the rickshaw was OK
for a while, but felt like it underachieved to me. That's too bad, because
I really like Newman's character a lot. Having him and Kramer show up in
Jerry's bedroom was funny, but the rest of it just didn't work for me.
	So all in all, I think it was better than many of the earlier eps,
but it still seems pale in comparison to even last season, which I thought
had better moments, and fewer groaners. Maybe that's what I can't deal
with - it's not that the comedy has to have me rolling all the time, it's
more that it better not leave me thinking that the writers are simply
transplanted hacks from the other NBC sitcoms, what with the really
predictable and well-worn jokes that get used.
