**GREAT** episode!

What a classic episode "The Switch" was. Best of this season IMHO. All of the regular characters, including..yes!...Newman in brilliant and hilarious interlocking stories.

We got Kramer's first name, and as a bonus, his mother as a restroom matron! Great Elaine subplot with the tennis racket (including return of a totally minor character -- the woman from the publishing house). George's screw up in the attempt to catch his bulimic girlfriend in the act (priceless "freshen up" scene, "You're fresh, you're very fresh"). The little grade B movie parody of the hatching of the "switch" plot. And of course catching Newman with Kramer's mother.

The whole episode big-time laugh out loud.

I agree that it was indeed one of the great episodes, destined to be a classic. I have a hard time understanding the twist involving Newman and Babs "making it" on Newman's couch. I don't think that was really necessary (Newman's "Cosmo??").

As humble as I can present my opinion, I would say that this is one very best episodes ever!

The beauty of the humor in this series is the depth to which they interlock the sub-plots. For Cosmo Kramer to walk in on his mother with Newman was the conclusion of another seemingly incongruous sub-plot. And the menage a trois...

The whole episode is near comedic perfection.
