Regardless of the merit of your views, this is not the proper forum for them. Do not accuse me of any position on this as a result of this post, as this post has nothing to do with my position, as my position on this issue would be just as inappropriate in this newsgroup as yours.
Usenet is a self-policing forum, and to have some order amongst literally tens of thousands of newsgroups, it is, to say the least, considerate to keep one's post on-topic.
You may argue that yours is on-topic as it involves in a tangential sense an actress on the show. However, let me tell you this:
You do your cause NO GOOD by posting about it in appropriate newsgroups. Those who believe what you have to say will give you positive feedback. So what? How is your cause furthered by that? Those who are against your cause will still be against your cause. Those who you wish to reach, those who have not formed an opinion on that which concerns you so greatly -- they will be alienated as they can see no evidence of intelligence in your posting since it is, first and foremost, off-topic.
The basic gist of what I am trying to tell you is that you are only hurting your cause by doing this. I am not telling you to shut up or be silent about the plight of animals, just that when you choose to post in alt.tv.seinfeld about the plight of animals, even more people will side against you and none will be converted to the beliefs of PETA. Therefore, what is the purpose of you posting in this an other newsgroups inappropriate for this topic? If anything, more animals will be killed, eaten, and used for testing because people without an opinion WILL form one, an opinion decidedly anti-whatever- you-believe-in.
Continue with your off-topic posts. Go ahead. NOW you can say I have a viewpoint. Keep it up, it only hurts your cause, and since I am against your cause, it makes me happy to see you continue to hurt your own cause.

Ok, if you're reading this I'm sure you've read the previous posts in this thread, so...I'm leaving them out.
I was just reading my United States Constitution(I live in the U.S. so
that's what I'm using for my discussion. If you live in India or some place
similar then you'll just have to ignore this post and accept my apology for
wasting your time.)and for the life of me I can't find any reference to
animal rights. If you want me to conform to your concept of reality you'll
have to get an ammendment passed. If this occurs please email me
immediately as I'll have to go on a killing spree to stock up my freezer
before the change takes effect. Come to think of it, if it's just as bad to
kill animals as it is to kill people would I be prosecuted for taking
antibiotics in your perfect world? How about using a toothbrush? Life is
life you know.
I hold nothing in this world more precious than life. I'm an athiest
and consider the life we have as the only one. To take a person's life is
to take everything from them, and a great deal from the family also. I
think this should only be done in the most extreme cases. Say that a
person's actions raise the price of gas at the pump by .09 cents per
gallon, well, that may not sound like a lot, but multiply it by all the
gallons purchased in the world. The person or persons that do that deserve
whatever they get. Self defense is another case, capital punishment is cool
with me for rape, murder, negligent homicide, incest, pedophilia, and just
about anything else considered illegal in the U.S. If you could be executed
for cutting someone off in traffic then maybe we'd all be a little more
polite to each other.

Actually, I've been toying around with an idea about using the hide of dead manatees for making clothing articles and accessories. No, I don't mean you go out and kill some manatee, I mean get one that's already dead...certified dead...then use it's carcass before they do whatever they do with dead manatees.
I mean, think of the possibilities...everything you make out of one will be waterproof (not merely water resistant), including umbrellas, raincoats, all-weather gear, pouches to store personal belongings while at the beach or scuba diving, etc.
I just need to find out what they do with all those dead manatees and call them up and...
Apparently Julia Dreyfuss has serveral mink coats.
I bet she gets the ones from Northern Farms. They keep the minks outside all winter. Some of them die of the cold, but the rest develop amazingly think fur. Those make the best (and most expensive coats).
I think we should post nasty messages to those who wear polyester coats. Polyester is totally disgusting and causes me pain to look at and think about.

You just "think" that because you need to alleviate your own guilt for the suffering you inflict on animals. The characters on this show are so inconsistant, especially Kramer & Elaine. Kramer is supposed to be this rescuer of powerless beings, like rescuing the pigman from vivisection, diving for Little Jerry Seinfeld who was about to be pecked to death, and grabbing a baby from under the circumsizing knife, yet he has no problem boiling a slew of lobsters alive. Elaine is loudly anti-fur and she boycotts tuna because it kills dolphins (but who cares about the tuna, right?) She has no problem eating animals. She has no moral dilemna with conspiring to bump off a dog. Kramer & Elaine are hypocrites. What else is new?

I usually dont bother to reply to the RUDE posts, but, I had to add my 2 cents here! This is a Seinfeld board! Seinfeld is a fictitious TV show, The Characters ARE NOT real, they are played by ACTORS!! So therefore, what they do, isnt real either...get it??
What these people do is they go down the list and post their insanity , out of place ideas or get rich quick schemes to every group. Stopping them is hard. I guess that the best thing is to simply ignore the thread and to delete them as they pop up.
