I don't know if any of you remember or not, but I used to read/post here back in the spring. However, on the night and days following Black Thursday, the posts got to be too much (1000+ per day!), so I ran like a scared... person. Yeah. Anyway, I was wondering if things have calmed down here sufficiently for me to return here. I know I used to enjoy this ng A LOT. Mercy Buckets.

Returning poster asks if the newsgroup has calmed down since the show ended, and regulars confirm traffic has decreased significantly and the community remains active and welcoming.

This NG has calmed down alot since the show ended, and even more after the reruns stopped airing on NBC and the new season started. In fact, this newsgroup is 1/6 of what the Simpsons newsgroup is, and thats good, because you can't post anything in the Simpsons NG without recieving about 10 replies within the hour...

A lot of episode seem to repeat a lot of the same words a lot of the
time. It didn't take a lot of time to find a lot of examples of "A
LOT", and there are a lot more I didn't even look at yet.
