James Spader has been in "Pretty in Pink," "Mannequin," "White Palace," "sex, lies and videotape," to name a few. He was at his snotty best in "Pink." I love the guy. (but still would not have cast him in Seinfeld)

Although I thought Spader was good in the role from an acting standpoint, I would have cast someone who was a little rougher around the edges. That is the way the character seemed to me.

The Spader role in Seifeld was the negative image of his "Three Days in the Valley" role as the stop watch toting hired killer. Great flick.

Spader was not in Sixteen Candles, but he's carved a terrific career. Probably the more well known films he's been in include Pretty in Pink, Sex, Lies & Videotape, and Less than Zero. He couldn't have been any better than he was in Music of Chance though, with Mandy Patimkin.
