Fans discuss George's recurring technique of citing relatives' characteristics to defend himself or his actions, particularly from The Outing episode where he mentions his father being gay.

OK watching The Outing last night again on paramount UK and Geaorge does the great routine where he begs the NYU student to have sex with him to prove he's not gay (NTTAWWT). He also says "My father's gay" to show he doesn't have a problem with it though. When has George used this technique of stating that a relative is x to back up his case? I can think of one other but I'm sure there are more.

No, because it wasn't until later that Frank Costanza wore a bra. However, George's interviewer, Sid Farkas, is the same guy that Frank and Kramer went to see about the "bro/manzier" idea.

Also, has anyone noticed that the woman whose material George felt is the girl from The Drew Carry Show? (Don't know her name though.)

The Drew Carey Show is great comedy too. I'd like to get this on dvd as well as Seinfeld.

Yes this one also springs to mind but it is a little different in the fact that it is is probably true that his father never paid for parking etc and it just a statement of fact. The ones I was after are the outrageous claims to back up something that George is asserting eg my father's gay, my cousin's in a bubble etc
