Taking it out

Tonight's show was very disappointing. Am I wrong?

I was very confused with this episode; i thought that I had missed a week somewhere. HELLO?! midgets -- where did they come from? George's new girlfriend was annoying and dull and so was George. Jerry basically did absolutely nothing this episode...you didn't even know why his previously unseen (?) friend was sick. And the whole "IT" thing was just unfunny and stupid. A stupid stupid stupid episode all around. And I expect more after the great MARine biologist and Pappie's place 'sodes.

Yeah, what was the deal with the midgets and Kramer? Kramer and Mickey read a scene from the soap opera that the real actors had just performed -- what purpose did that serve? What were their jobs, anyway? Is this just an example of unusual jobs like the hand model, or do TV studios actually use midgets reading the same lines as child actors?

I agree. Great episode! Another nominee for the quote list: "It's little people. Got it?"

Also, "Well, you showed her who you were."

Also liked the numerous "it? it. out? out." exchanges. great! Everyone in the TV room was laughing lots. Having watched The Simpsons for an hour directly preceding, That was possibly the most random 90 minutes of television I have ever watched. In other words, fantastic.

Well the first half was pretty boring, useless and stupid. But it did start to pick up later in the show. I personally liked the "took it out" bit. It reminded me alot of what the show is like and about.

That other Canadian had a point. Way too many midgets (sorry, little people.)

Well, i personally think that it was a classic Seinfield episode. It was so random that it was funny. That is what is great about the show. Everything from Jerry killing a guy with laughter, to "He took IT out," to George saying "I don't know what he is going to do with all that potato salad." My friends and I all liked the show on 2-24.

at the end of the show when elanie's date was talking to jerry in the hospital, elanie's date didn't seem to know what went wrong in the car. did he know he took it out? and if he didn't, why did he?

In my life's experience, people who are prone to do that sort of thing will act like nothing ever happened. When the issue is pursued, maybe. In general, they feel no harm done, so why bring it up?

Of course, no one's ever taken it out on me, so to speak...

I still think Elaine's date "took it out" to initiate sex. He seemed somewhat disappointed when Elaine said 'good-night', and then he quickly came up with something complimentary to say about how pretty she was so she wouldn't just open the car door and hop out. Then it looked like she was going to kiss him, but that's the exact moment when she saw IT.

sex in a car at night in NYC is a bad idea because of all the derranged people outside the car. but if there is one derranged person INSIDE the car who wants to have sex, then which place is safer: INSIDE or OUTSIDE??

Wasn't that a re-run from the first season? I'm pretty sure it was the show right before the "Junior Mints" episode.

why is this so hard to understand? the guy wanted a blowjob, thought he was on track for one, and misread the cues. outrageous and clueless, yes, but hardly incredible.
