Kenny Kramer and his "Kramer Reality Tour" seem to be more out of reality then in it as evidenced by his following article below. He explains the Larry David/Jerry Seinfeld "switch" that occured when David left the show.
Now that Jerry has taken over, we've all been subjected to brainless, prat-fall comedy that is rarely funny. Kenny seems to think that nither reality-based comedy or loony-based comedy is better than the other. But considering the type of show Seinfeld is and the types of shows that were created in the Larry David Years, I would have to say that Jerry Seinfeld is completely out of line in his arrogant parade to reverse the course of Seinfeld and turn it into a cheap-laughs generator of mindless comedy.
Jerry seems to enjoy lighthearted, simple-minded comedy as evidenced by the direction in which he has lead this TV series. But in the end, his mission to completely revamp Seinfeld isn't going to work becuase Seinfeld isn't the kind of show you can turn into a slapstick romp of ludicrousness. Jerry should take his ideas of comedy elsewhere, or to a new TV series, and leave Seinfeld alone. He's done enough damage already.
Kenny says that there is no doubt that Jerry can run this show. Well, in all fairness, I would say there is a huge doubt in the minds of Americans today on whether Jerry can handle it. Jerry's handling of this show reminds me of the Arizona Cardinals NFL football team. The Cards are 2-7, yet they have played very hard in most of their games and they have lost twice in overtime. They have talent. They have the ability to win. But on the sidelines they have coaches who really don't have a clue what they're doing. They just hope that they win. They don't have a game plan. They don't know how to get ready for a game. And that is kind of like the situation over on the Seinfeld set. We've got writers and producers who really don't know what they are doing and they really have no right in being in such high postitions, just like how the Cards' coaches don't have a right to be coaching. But both groups, on Sein and with the Cards, have managed to give the *appearance* that they *DO* know what they are doing. And Jerry has done that. He's made us think he knows what he's doing. But folks, Jerry isn't producing quality shows becuase he *can't do it*, and the Cards aren't winning games because the coaches *can't do it*.
