I didn't see this one in the FAQ, but I noticed in The Robbery, when J, G and E are admiring how much light is in the apartment they are looking at, Jerry says, "I don't have any plants." However, in his apartment, there is a big cactus next to the window by the computer desk.

I use to have a cactus in my office, but if someone had asked if I had plants in my office I very well could have said no. When I think of "plants" indoors I think more of ferns and other such things with leaves.
