3-A or 5-A

In the episode where George trys to swipe back the answering machine tape from his girlfriends................I saw 3-A on Jerrys door (in the first ten min of the show) Could some one who has that episode on tape please take a look and let me know if I'm going crazy???? Thank You Mike

Jerry IS in apt 3A atleast until the end of the 2nd season. By The Alternate Side episode he's in apt 5A.

Why did they change it? By misstake?

No explaination was ever given on the show and apt 3A & 5A do look very much alike. There was never an episode where Jerry moved or a mention of him changing apartments. So draw you own conclusions. He might of moved from 3A to 5A in between seasons and it was not put in as part of a plots OR the writers had the number on the door changed to mess with our minds. But if the latter is true, then they would have done it constantly during the course of the show.
