more fun with click and clack

there was another seinfeld reference on the NPR (nat'l public radio) show "car talk." hosts tommy and ray-mie were talking about an upcoming company picnic (of their fictious law firm of DEWEY, CHEATUM, and HOWE). all i heard was "i want kramer on my (softball) team." i don't think they have anyone named kramer on their staff.

I know it's spelled this way because in Harvard Square, on the third floor in the building that has Urban Outfitters, is the law firm of Dewey, Cheatham, and Howe. Well, their names are on the window, anyway. Everybody get the joke?

You may know how to spell Cheatham, but as any Click & Clack listener knows, it's HAHVAHD SQUAYAH.

It's true though that the Magliozzi brothers make frequent references to Seinfeld. Car mechanics with good taste! I never thought I'd see the day!

this is also the name of the law firm in Leisure Suit Larry II where he has to get a divorce, so i suspect this is an oldie. but it is a goodie.
