Seinfeld: The Final Episode

My idea(s) for the final Seinfeld:

-The entire series run was actually a figment of Kramer's imagination, who is actually an autistic savant living with his parents (Pat Paulsen and Ann Meara).

-George finds that he is being stalked by a one-armed man named Art Vandelay (Robert Vaughan) who is enraged with George for using his good name in the pursuit of various half-baked schemes. A tense final showdown takes place in an abandoned amusement park between George, Vandelay and the ghost of Vince Lombardi (Jerry Stiller).

-Jerry meets up with Monica, Rachel and Phoebe from "Friends." He can't decide which one to date, so he and George hatch a scheme in which Jerry would suggest an evening of group sex to the girls. Plans go awry when the girls out themselves as lesbians and move in with Elaine.

-Elaine upsets Jerry's parents with her claims that the Holocaust never happpened. Newman is aghast when he spies Jerry and Dolores feeling each other up in a movie theatre during "The Sorrow and The Pity."

-Kramer goes up on the space shuttle and joins Mike, Crow and Tom Servo on the Satellite of Love where they will spend eternity lampooning episodes of "The Single Guy" and "Caroline in the City."

How about this for the final:Babu returns from Pakastan vowing revenge on Jerry. He teams up with Crazy Joe Davola who has been realeased from the booby hatch. They put cyinide into Jerry's cerial after going into a coma George extends sympathy to a heart broken Elaine. Jerry awakens from the coma comming clean about the fact that he is gay. Elaine marrys George,Jerry moves to San Franciso and Kramer & Elle McPherson marry after forming a chain of make it yourself pizza parlors. (The end.)

That is so such a do-gooder! Everyone's happy. Nobody dies. Nobody is resurrected from the dead to resume their bodies. Kinda sounds like some of the Star Trek movies, doesn't it?

Elaine marrys George,Jerry moves to San Franciso

Jerry is hit by three paternity suits. One by one, he manages to get out of all of them (with George's guidance, of course). During the fiasco, everyone tells Jerry what a Horrible Father he'd be, and Jerry gets all pissed that no-one thinks he'd be a good dad.. Jerry ends up having a child (with Elaine?) out of spite. (I'm not sure why Elaine would go along with it.. but I'm sure Kramer could convince her)

Jerry: This is little Jerry.. we're not sure who the mother is.

Here's a challenge...script one for the hell of it. I'd love to read it. It sounds like you've a good understanding of the show.

     While we're on the subject...Julia Louis-Dreyfus has her own
suggestion as to how to end the show, offered in an interview
at the start of this season. Kramer finally finds a challenging
and satisfying career, George gets promoted in the Yankee
organization AND meets a woman he can share a mature and
loving relationship with, Jerry and Elaine finally decide they be-
long together--in short, everyone's problems are resolved, and
life sorts itself out for them. They are going out to dinner in
Jerry's car to celebrate...when they're T-boned and incinerated
in a blast of flame by a runaway propane truck.
     That's how SHE wants it to end, since these people simply
can't be allowed to live long lives as happy and fully mature and
functional adults.

Personally, I prefer the same approach that "Cheers" and "Star Trek; The Next Generation" ended with...an ending that isn't a true "ending" at all, that makes clear that the main characters' lives and relationships would NOT be coming to an end with the close of the series, but can be imagined continuing on even if we'll no longer get to see them in new stories.

Conclude the series, whether in 1997 or 1998, with a boffo episode (maybe even an hour-long) that has a ton of laughs, involves all the main and peripheral characters, ties up a lot of loose ends from the season gone by (though not all)...but at the same time, makes it clear that life,

and friendship, will go on for everyone in a lot the same way after the final series fade-out. Best way to end the original run, is to allow the viewer to conclude that the Seinfeld world continues to turn. (It also allows for reunion TV movies and even theatrical features.) Susan resurrects and marries George.

Elaine becomes a lesbian and marries one of thoses Asian girls that give pedicures or manicures or whatever they call it.

Jerry loses his voice for ETERNITY

Kramer gets rich and moves to whereever Babbo lives and gets killed by him.

Jerry gets in a big fight with Newman and falls out the window right on Dolores who and both die.

COULD BE AN INTERESTING SHOW.

I agree with you although my favorite ending ever for any show was for Newhart. The one where the Japanese have taken over the town and the Stratford now is in the middle of the golf course. Bob steps onto the porch, gets hit in the head by a golf ball, falls to the ground unconscious, and wakes up in bed with Suzanne Pleshette back in the Bob Newhart Show. Then again I guess that falls into the same category.

Gee, that's sweet...kinda like "The Waltons". Maybe even at the very end
have them all step out of character and wave goodbye....
C'mon, get real!! This show needs a really OUTLANDISH ending...for
instance...
1. They're sitting around Jerry's apartment, and Newman comes in, in
uniform, and finally does his Postal Worker thing on them...
2. Same as (1) above, but substitute "Babo" for "Newman"...
3. In a drunken, emotional funk, George is arrested while masturbating at
Susan's grave...
4.  In the ultimate resolution of several complex sub-plots, they ALL FOUR
end up in bed together, squealing in wild, drunken abandon...and are caught
by GEORGE'S PARENTS!!!!
5. In a show with no laugh track, they all discover they are
HIV-positive...and then
     (1) Have a retrospective of their numerous affairs over the years,
trying to figure out who gave what to whom, and realizing just how huge the
web has become, conclude with the somber message that "promiscuity don't
pay"; or
     (2) see #4 above; or
     (3) as the show fades out, they are all four in an AIDS ward, weak and
dying, arguing over some silly, meaningless "nothing", as usual...
6. George, Elaine and Kramer all somehow are "discovered" at a Broadway
show and quit their jobs (or whatever) for show business...and change their
names to "Jason Alexander", "Julia Louise-Dreyfuss" and "Michael Richards",
respectively...and then go their separate ways to make "names" for
themselves!!!

Remember, you read it here first!!! (Gee, hope I'm not making some rich guy richer...)
