In tonight fox rerun showing the independent George, when Jery suggested Elaine to do things with George's fiancee, Kramer was quick to point out the world collapse theory. But I remember in another episode when Elaine wanted to move into Jerry's building and Jerry was reluctant and tried subtlely to keep her out, Kramer seemed to be totally clueless about Jerry's concern of Elaine in the same building with him.

Actually its not the same thing. Jerry and Elaine aready know each other, so doing things together and living together is not a worlds collide issue. Remember they dated in college. Elaine being a friend and Elaine being a lover are the same thing. It all take place in the same world. But Elaine and Susan don't know each other. One is from George's social life the other is from George's love life. Two people accquanted with George in two different ways interacting is a collapse of the worlds. But Elaine and Jerry both know each other as lovers and friends so its one world. Another reason that Kramer acts clueless is because if there was going to be a collapse of world's by Jerry's frined living with him it would have happened in college when they were dating.

That's a good observation but I think THAT'S Kramer. The only thing normal about him is eccentricity. He doesn't have any character first of all to contradict with. His whole life is a fantasy camp. I don't think the show would be succesfull if Kramer had a consistent character. sudheer.
