A portion of 'The Beard' Omitted?!?

On Thursday, Feb. 15 The Beard was re-ran here (Tucson, AZ) and a couple things got left out. Near the beginning, when Jerry and Elaine are talking about the ballet, Jerry asks why is she doing this, she says, "Swan Lake, at The Met." Jerry's buzzer rings and he pirouettes over to the buzzer, it's George and he answers "Get it on, with your badself" - This was left out on our station. Later when Jerry is setting up his date with the Sergent he's talking about whether she should bring her gun or not, and he says something about I don't know you that well, What if we get in a fight or something, Who knows what you're capable of. They then decided that she not bring her gun. - This portion of Jerry's conversation was left out. Did this happen to anyone else? Has this happened on other episodes? What is the point? If their trying to save time, they saved about 10 seconds total.??

It seems as if they have been cutting thirty seconds to a minute out of every episode on sindication. We use to record the originals on NBC every week, so I know the shows pretty well and can compare.
