DONNA CHANG ep question

In the episode where Donna Chang tells George she heard (from Mrs. Costanza) that his parents are getting divorced George did something weird. He kinda looked away and then appeared to have gotten on his feet at Jerry's oven to maybe to breath some gas fumes. I don't know what happened. Does anyone know what he was doing?

I thinks he put his head in the oven, as if to say, that's it, I might as well get in the oven and turn it on... But there was something more interesting in that show. ONe of the only scenes I could never figure out: When Frank and Estelle are arguing and george is with them in the kitchen and they yell "Why do the Seinfeld's not like us" so he sais" I really have no idea", and it is imposible to tell if he is seriously bewildered or simply making and ironic remark. What do y'all say?

No really, I haven't seen that ep in a while, but I seem to remember something like what Buffalo Noah posted. George did some sort of pantomime about sticking his head in the oven. I think. Aw, hell. I'm suspending judgement until I watch the episode again. I'll report back after the weekend.

George was acting out a parody of "I'm going to kill myself" by sticking his head in Jerry's oven...probably in typical George reaction to something said to him.
