I just watched those interviews on the DVD extras of "Comedian". I never heard of that guy before. I tought I was bitter and cynical and hated every human being on the face of the earth, but I tell you, this is nothing compared to what it would be if I didn't stop watching TV 4 years ago. The last idiot like this I saw on TV was Howard Stern. I knew they were emptying sanatoriums, now I know where all these people went. I think if I was in showbusiness, I wouldn't even wait to be invited on Glick's show. I would show up during his set, smack a TV over his head, make sure he doesn't breathe anymore, and then wait quietly for the cops. They say don't do the crime if you can't do the time, but I tell you, for that crime, I would do any time. You have to be insane for trying to compete in a society that willfully put these idiots on TV. Jail is ten times better than meeting people on the street, thinking they may tune in deliberatelty to watch this guy. Weightlifting and sodomy is a cakewalk compared to that open-door insane asylum that is our society. And at least you get to study for free in jail, but you have to loan the money if you're out and not a criminal. Suddenly I'm thinking Castro and his regime is not that bad where people get to be paid for studying and where prostitutes have their baccalaureus. But then again I never watched Cuban TV so...

The government, instead of paying for picking your brain, get you to feel humiliated, poor, and sexually frustrated so you'll be willing to pay and borrow money from them to get a diploma, a high paying job, buy a lot of stuff, and get a woman. It was completely different, based on Brian Linehan who's questions would always start like " 1976, Paris, a small cafe, you were having lunch with Catherine Deneuve and she said to you......" Interviewee's reaction " How did you know that?"
Glick is played like a jolly fool while Linehan was played as pretentious and dumb because in Short's skits the detailed information Linehan would be reciting would be wrong.
