I know probably 99.999 % of the scenes were shot in LA. But were any actually shot in New York other that quick shots of actual NY landmarks, the diner, apartment building, etc?
Funny thing is I've been a huge fan ever since the second season and in the back of my mind I always think that everything is actually taking place in NY. I will ALWAYS think that no matter what!!!
M*A*S*H* has that same effect....all filmed in in LA too?
Hell I live in New York and still I forget it was not shot in New York...the show really did capture NYC perfectly set wise and in many other ways...
There were scenes shot in New York (besides the location shots outside the diner, etc). A few that come to mind are Kramer running out of NBC to find a bathroom, and Kramer running out of the subway to the Latvian Orthodox church. Of course, it wasn't Michael Richards in those scenes.
