Kramer starring in a movie !!

This is real slim but, I went to see Cliffhanger (pretty good) this weekend and as I was entering into the theatre a little late with arms full of popcorn and soda, a preview for a new movie was showing and the third actor shown and named was Michael Richards. I didn't quite catch the name of the movie either because that was when I was tripping over every body's feet and getting dirty looks. I think it bagan with the word "So". Anyway I'm sure somebody can say more about it than I can. Sorry...

This isn't a movie, but has anyone here ever seen Michael Richard's appearance on Cheers? He played a guy who came into the bar and reminded Sam that years ago, Sam had bet him his bar that he would marry Jackie Onnassis (sp?) by a certain date. So Sam goes out and finds a girl named Jackie Onassis, flies her in to Boston, and asks her to marry him.

When Kramer (damnit, I mean Michael Richards) realizes he's going to lose the bet, he tries to make a deal with Sam, who finally agrees to call off the bet in exchange for an olive with a pimento in it.

Not a hilarious episode, but if you look closely, you can see shades of Kramer in Richard's characters.

A thousand apologies if this is already covered in some FAQ list.

Saw the Cheers with M. Richards. Funny, but not as funny as Neil Simon's "Chapter Two". tony

He was also in "The Ratings game" starring Danny DeVito. In witch, by the way, Jerry Seinfeld had a very small part as a CBS executive.

Probably Coneheads. This summer/fall (August I think).

Michael Richards isn't a Conehead, he's just a wacky neighbor.

No, it wasn't Coneheads. The title had several words in it. My roomate was with me too and he couldn't remember the name of the movie either. He seems to think he remebers it starting "So, I..." It was definately not Coneheads. But I'm sure the commercials will be out soon...

Actually, it's "So I Married an Axe-Murder" starring Mike Myers of SLN and Wayne's WOrld fame. I can't remember the female lead's name though.

The preview made it seem like a rather funny movie (it did it's job well, it seems). I may have to check it out.

I liked Cliffhanger, by the way; but I've got a soft spot for Janine Turner.

Well, he may also be in So I Married an Axe-Murder (although I don't remember him in the previews I saw), but he's definately in Coneheads.

That, or they're rearranging movie titles on me.

This is, in fact, the case. Michael Richards has what appear to be bit parts in both 'So I Married an Axe-Murderer' and 'Coneheads'.

It isn't Kramer who is in "So I married and Axe Murderer" it's Mike Myers from SNL. Also about best episodes, I didn't see anyone say the time that Jerry couldn't get that smell out of his car, or airplane one when Jerry got first class and Elaine had to sit in coach, with fool from Too Close for Comfort and Hollywood Squares fame, JM. J Bullock.

Sounds like _So I Married an Axe Murderer_ with Mike Myers of _Wayne's World_ fame. I hadn't heard that Michael Richards was in that.
