OK. OK. The "Spinal Tap Theory" ("The DIBERGI Solution") "is" plausible. There is, in fact, a good chance that it may indeed hold a key to "Elevenses"... i.e.:"Eleven". You can't beat a sleeping horse. Let it lie.

But that still makes no attempt to justify the "Why?"... to wit:

Why DO you humans keep your candy bars ON TOP OF THE REFRIGERATOR?. It's warm up there! (the compressor below and all), and usually quite dusty. (Did you know that household dust is made up, primarily, of shed human skin?)

During warm weather, IT CAN ACTUALLY APPROACH "HOT" in this location... not at all the best choice to preserve chocolate compounds that are primarily bound together with WAX. And also, during this same season, household sanitation often becomes lax. Due to preoccupation with "outdoor" trivialities, this same storage? area is, typically, VERY DUSTY. Very dusty. LOTS of dust.

Perhaps even too dusty for consumables? Perhaps. Perhaps "the REST of the story"? Perhaps.

In article , [email] says...

We don't have those kind of refridgerators. Our fridges are almost everytime fitted inside the cabinets. I keep my chocolates inside the frigde, rather than in warm.

Noone,

You're right on that one. In all the "Britcoms" that run here, everyone seems to have a "built-in" under the counter... about half the size of the "refri(d)gerated closets" found on this side of the pond.

Do WE eat/drink too much cold stuff?, or do you guys just like to shop for groceries every day? Does "eleven" fit somewhere in this equasion? Eleven eggs to the dozen? A five-pack of beer? Could reducing these kinds of things by "one" save all that space? Per chance there is also a freezer under some other counter?
