Why, if they have the rights don't they screen the show any more?

It did really well, even though it was on a crappy time slot yet nothing for years, you'd think that they might show it again, particularly as its not on Paramount at the mo.

The BBC thinks that My Family and Pint of Lager and a packet of Crisps (or whatever it's called) are screen-worthy sitcoms, so its judgement is clearly screwy. If Seinfeld had been shown on Channel 4, as Friends was, it would have been massive.

By not re-screening Seinfeld, the BBC, if it still has the rights, is doing the equivalent of keeping a Van Gogh covered in sheets in the warehouse. Philistines! And their so-called 'objective' news stinks.

BBC4 have been very good with Curb Your Enthusiasm which has surprised me. Transmission has broken a couple of times therein, however this may be a fault of the NTL platform which provides my service.

I went to a BBC4 focus group in the middle of last year and they seriously seemed to be debating whether to screen it at all! They described the show titleless and in a very derogatory fashion and then asked the group whether they thought it should be on the channel. Unsurprisingly most people thought not until I piped up with a bit more information about the show.

I imagine when BBC2's license expires on Seinfeld, Channel Four will jump in and start a UK craze 10 years after the event.

The BBC treated Seinfeld disgracefully. When they first aired it, it was on at 7pm on a week day,but soon changed it to a midnight slot. The fools still did not realise how big a show it was at the end. All the nationals newspapers were hyping up the finale, yet the idiots still put them on at midnight!!!!
