Does anyone know what tonight's episode is about?

Tonight (7/22) is "The Keys", the final episode of last season. It begins with a dispute over Kramer having Jerry's house keys, and goes on to some crazy Kramer stuff (don't want to say anymore so that I don't ruin it for those who haven't seen it).

I dont remember the underlying theme, is it the key buddy thing?, but Kramer goes to CA and ends up as Murphy Brown's secretary. A truly funny episode !

Murphy: Are you familiar with the computer system, Mr. Snell? Kramer: Oh, I'm familiar allright.

K: No, you're right. I have broken The Covenant Of The Key.

How about when George and Kramer are in the coffee shop:

G: When are you going? (to California) K: Up here (pointing to his head), I'm already gone.

Cracked me up...

As an earlier "poster" pointed out, Elaine and George both muttered curses - what a hoot!

Also:

Elaine: I gotta get some new friends...

and

George: Cut it out, Kramer. You're freaking me out...

Last nights episode was absolutely fantastic....one of the greats in my opinion.

The dialog between Kramer and George at the diner was superb, especially George's repeated "no" to all of Kramer's questions regarding Georges life...George's expressions were perfect.

The "Dragnet" dialogue in the hallway, when they were trying to find out where Kramer has gone, had me rolling...

Did anyone get a look to see what kind of car Kramer was driving out to Calif.? Also, Kramers clothes! I am trying to pin down what decade or style they are from. All of his shirts look like bowling shirts, baggy pants, and the shoes, gotta be the shoes. It was too bad that we didn't get a shot of the inside of Kramers apartment. Just for discussion, "What would Kramers apartment look like?"

Regarding Kramer's dialogue with George in the diner: (from memory) K: "Do you have a job?" G: "No." "Girlfriend?" "No." "Prospects?" Pause. "No." "Any reason for getting up the morning?" With a hurt and miserable expression and tone: "I like to read the paper!"

I also liked the scene in the hallway: "You can't hurt me! I got witnesses!" "George turn, around." ... "It was the keys, you see, yeah, the keys."

"The evil Ogre took the keys from the handsome young prince!"

And when Jerry kicks Kramer out of his bathtub, and Kramer throws the towel back through the door.

Definitely one of the best episodes.

Too bad Seinfeld won't be back until August 12th.

So did anybody catch what Elaine was mumbling? I tried, but I kept missing it. :(

There are two words that I remember Elaine mumbling; one was "asshole" and the other one was "shit." I loved the faces that Jerry was making while he was questioning Elaine "I heard you say something." He was about to bust out laughing. Definetely one of the best episodes of the season.

I may have these out of order and they may not be EXACTLY the phrase but I believe I got the words right (ie. the ones that the censors missed :)

p.s. Anybody know how the were allowed to keep those in?

I don't think they were kept in. I was paying attention to the tape to hear something, but it seemed to me you could see them mouth the word, but hear the audience laughter over it. Am I the only one who thought this is what happened?

I agree - I watched the episode on tape and even rewound it, but still couldn't actually hear the last syllables. Of course this pales in comparison to what you can read (and occasionally hear) on the lips of sports figures during games.
