To those people who, a few months ago, were denigrating Larry David here is what Jerry has to say:
PLAYBOY: How did you hook up with the show's co-creator, Larry David?
JS: We've known each other since 1976, 1977. We were both doing stand-up.
But stand-up isn't his forum. It's too crass for what he does.
Larry has a brilliant flair for staging and direction. There is no
show without him. He has, more than me, created this enterprise.
My skill has been to help him interpret his ideas. He filters things
through me. I contribute lines and jokes.
