There have been a few animals mentioned or part of an episode (like a whale - but it did not have a real name - other than Big Fella). For ten points - name an animal and the animal's name. So, it has to have a real name to be listed here.

          E. G.   Hansom Cab Horse  - Rusty
                     Neighbour's Parrot - Fredo

How many others were there? I have a few.
