new sein series on paramount starts tonight

series 5 (i think) starts tonight on paramount at 9:30, i'll be there, will you?

It's actually series 6 - which was shown last year on BBC2. Paramount are saying it's new - that's new to Paramount presumably. But does this mean they don't yet have the rights to the last two series (8 and 9), and that we have to wait on the smelly old BBC to show them first?
