Wheres Susan?

Can some one tell me why George's girl friend Susan left the show and what has happened to her since? Her name is Heidi something I think but the last time I did a search on the Seinfeld web site, I don't think she was even mentioned. Has she done any shows or movies or even commercials since then? The writers killed the character "Susan" off. You apparently missed the episode where she died after being poisoned from licking the cheap glue on the wedding invitations. Not one teardrop fell when she went either. George hated the bitch and finally found his perfect out.

Thank god she bit the dust, she was an ugly whiny bitch, and all she did was piss and moan. I couldn't stand to even hear her voice, and apparently the writers felt the same way. The way George and the rest of the Seinfeld gang reacted to her death was fantastic, couldn't give a rats-ass. I love the nihilistic undertones of this show, it's what drew me to it: my love of watching others suffer for the sake of my entertainment (something I enjoy in real life).

In response to Ric's question, I don't know; however, I would imagine that the writers felt that the George and Susan characters could not have gotten married at all - it would destroy the show's dynamic involving four wacky singles. Perhaps the cleanest way to solve, short of George moving to China for a year, was to bump her off. Therefore, it may not have had anything to do with Ms. Swedberg personally. This isn't by any means a definitive answer; just a hypothesis.

I just bought the DVDs and the woman who played Susan is on them. Holy Rosie O'donal has this broad beefed up...or maybe dyked out. She's not the skinny, whiney, little mouse anymore. I swear she must have at least a 20 inch neck. I didn't even know it was the same woman. She looks like one of those big old lesbians you see at Home Depot on a Sunday afternoon...minus the crew cut and the pack of Luckey's rolled up in the shirt sleeve.
