question about syndicated episodes

Does anyone know if the syndicated episodes follow any kind of order, or if they're just randomly shown? It seems like the Contest is aired at least once a month. Do stations that own the rights to broadcast them even air ALL the episodes? When was the last time they aired "the Pick" or "The Pie"? I haven't seen those in ages..thanks

Who determines the syndicated schedual, since all the stations show the same eps at the same time (except for saturday/sunday differences)?

Here in NY they show, or have shown, "The Pie" enough times for me to say that I have seen the episode about five times, and as far as "The Pick" is concerned, here in NY they tend to show that episode as a Christmas episode, since, after all, the memorable plot out of the episode is Elaine's Christmas card, and her nipple...is that what Christmas is made of...
