I don't know. I have been keeping an episode list (with descriptions) myself, and when Highlights of a Hundred came out, I decided to renumber and count all the hour-long episodes as two episodes, so that H of 100 comes out to be episode #100. (This kind of makes sense to me, because, note that in syndication, The Trip I is one rerun playing one night, and Trip II is another episode playing another night.) Note, also, I count H of 100 as episode #100, whereas Brian skipped it. What do other people do?

Even though The Pitch and The Ticket the episode was clearly given two names, Brian lumped them into one episode because they were shown on the same night.

I also prefer the renumbering as you mentioned. I think it's clear from the name Highlights of a Hundred, that the episodes were intended to be numbered as you did.

The approach I take for my guide is to list each half hour separately.

The Pitch is episode 43 in my guide. The Ticket is episode 44.

One of the reasons I chose to do this for my Seinfeld and other guides, is I know the episodes will be shown in syndication as two half hour parts. So regardless of whether it was a special 1 hour episode, such as the recently run "The Cadillac", I give each part a separate entry.

That is why I have Seinfeld at 125 episodes to date.
