Seinfeld on DVD...

forget about it guys, its not gonna happen. I am sick of hearing about wanting Seinfeld on DVD. All your lobbying doesnt mean anything to them and if they were planning it for the future, you would have heard about it.

I think it is RUDE of Columbia Tristar or whatever not considering Seinfeld on DVDs because there are so many fans out there. DVDs at home increases alot in the whole world. The fans deserve Seinfeld on DVD and X-files,Simpsons,Friends,Ally McBeal and other series are on DVD and will also continue to be so. Why not Seinfeld?Ok, I admit the chances is not so high but I still have a hope.

Well while I'm not disagreeing with you...Seinfeld should be on DVD, yes...But your arguement there is wrong...Friends and The Simpsons have never been released on DVD...not yet anyway...

Ally McBeal has 6 episodes out, and The X-Files has a full season 1 set out, and season 2 coming out...but no Friends or Simpsons...(in America anyway...do they have them overseas?)

In Europe - in France and UK at least - we have Friends on DVD, seasons 1-5. A Simpsons DVD is about to be released. But no Seinfeld :-(

One reason I think it may not be released for some time is that Seinfeld makes so much money from sindication, and if all episodes were released on DVD the rating of the reruns may go down, and then the stations might not carry them anymore there for Seinfeld wouldn't make as much. Well thats just my opinion.

I think they're less likely to release shows on DVD here in the states because it means (to the big wigs anyway) less ratings in syndication...

Some older shows are out in the states, like Star Trek, The Twilight Zone, and I swear I saw My Favorite Martian last week when I was in J&R in Manhatten...
