George's religion

George is not religious. If you remember in episode 61--The Pilot--George tells a therapist that he doesn't believe in God, only for the bad stuff. This season was classic! I, being a Yankees fan, loved it when George (The opposite) blasted George Steinbrenner. (I wish it really was George Steinbrenner.) Nobody wrote Elaine to tell her what happened to Russel Daurymple, the President of NBC who died on a Greenpeace mission. The guy was going to write her. If anybody wants to know, Penthouse mag did an interview with a friend of Larry David. His name was Larry (I think?) Kramer. Anyway, he had a first name. That is the guy they base Kramer's life on. NBC needs to start showing the episodes from the begining. Have a Seinfeld marathon. They will get the ratings. Many new fans and old ones want to see them all and tape them. How could they lose?

They won't ever do that (Seinfeld marathon), because if the fans have all of the shows on tape, what would be the incentive to watch the shows when rebroadcast on network TV? Hence, the ratings would go down (especially for the coming syndication) and the advertisers would have less of a target audience...and hence, the ads would sell for less money. Hence, if the networks are not gong to make as much money in the long term, then they're not going to have a Seinfeld marathon. They don't care about the fans...they care about "the big mamoo." $$

As to Russell Daylrymple, how do you know that Elaine didn't get the letter? It could have happened outside of the show. The characters _do_ have a life off-camera (although, admittedly, not much of one. :)) Dave
