Kramer's song on 1/15

No one's mentioned it yet, so I thought I throw it out. Kramer is singing the song 'Mexican Radio' by Wall of Voodoo while he's reversing the peephole. It's a somewhat obscure 80's new wave song. (Not as obscure as Dr. Zaius IMHO) They also play a quick sample of the actual song at the end of the credits.

(Not as obscure as Dr. Zaius IMHO) This is too obscure for me. Can you explain Dr. Zaius?

I am not certain but I recall a Dr. Zaius as an archvillan on a children's cartoon show from the late 60's to early 70's. It may be Dr Quest's nemisis from"Jonny Quest"

No, no, no. Dr Zaius is the ape scientist in the movie "Planet Of The Apes"! (Actually I think he was an orangutan) When Elaine says "I presume you know... Dr Zaius" I almost fell out of my chair, I laughed so hard! This was the funniest line in the show and nobody I know even got it. It's no wonder Jerry's pulling the plug.

You're close, but not exactly. Dr. Zaius was from Planet of the Apes, but the song is from a Simpsons episode. There's an episode where Troy McClure is in the musical Planet of the Apes. Tom Weis wrote in message ...

I never heard Krammer singing the song. From what I read I just assumed that was the song he was singing. The one from the Simpsons is obviously a different song. I just figured there was only one song about the Dr. Zaius from Planet of the Apes. Sorry to screw you guys up. Jon Hollander wrote in message ...

Dr. Zaius isn't really a song- it was a spinoff of the 80's song "Amadeus" that was on the Simpsons Mabye Kramer was singing that
