Does the Writers or Producers Read Usenet?

Last week's show seems to destroy my Jewish hypothesis. The key word is seems. There was ever so much effort to portray George as being Italian.He appeals to the baker as a fellow Italian. No room for nuance there!

I do beleive that such an effort is ment to sever (in no uncertain terms) the possibility of George being Jewish. The producers or at least one of them might have been reading this newsgroup and made a preemptive strike of a sort. If that is indeed the case they're burning their bridges behind them. No possibility of "It didn't take" as in the case of Susan.

The semetic roots of George have been destroyed in a case of dramatic revisonism. From now on George is related to Frank Sinatra and not Albert Einstein.

Or, Estelle could be Jewish and that would make George a Jew, at least according to matrilineal descent according to traditional Jewish law. This isn't news -- that George is at least half Italian. Earlier this season, Frank met his cousin in Italy.

They must be aware of this long-running thread. If they're not, they should be bloody well ashamed of themselves...
