Elaine's Daddy

Bringing back the subject of Elaine's parents... I seem to remember a few years ago seeing an episode where Jerry, George and Elaine met her Dad for dinner. HE was a surly, ex-military guy. As I recall, Jerry had just bought a new suede jacket, and was going to wear it inside-out so that it wouldn't get ruined in the rain. Lainie's Dad wouldn't let him because the lining was pink striped or something. I also remember George or Jerry ordering a drink with very little ice. Elaine's father asked why hew was doing that and he siad, don't you think you get so much more?

I realize this is losing something in the translation....

Does anyone else remember this?

Does anyone else remember this? ---------------------------------- The episode was called "The Jacket" and NBC hasn't rerun it in ages. I have a copy of the script and it's dated Nov. 1990, so it probably aired in early '91. It's very funny epsiode & I wish I could see it again, because I wasn't taping the show at the time. (Sob.)
