Rating for "The Apology"

This episode wasn't all that good. The naked thing was dumb, but I did like the Kramer/shower part of the show and George/Stanky Hanky. It's so annoying that George is always yelling. It's funny sometimes, but all the time is overkill. It's like the writers really gave up on the character. The funniest lines were:

"I really think it's the size of your neck." "It's MY HEAD!!"

"I'm watching you, buddy, but this guy's really showing me something!"

"People in this city are crazy!"

"Hey, you got any A-1, cause I'm cookin' a steak?.....No, a different one!"

I'd give it a 5.

I agree that George had become more irritable in Season 9 than in previous years, but in this episode it was essential or they couldn't have weaved Rageoholism into the plot.

My favorite moment was when Puddy recognized the misprint in the garbage disposal instructions.

The episode got me to laugh a few times, I enjoyed the germ-o-phobes plot, and George's futile attempts for an apology on the neck hole remark, but the naked plot wasn't too good, and I'm seeing a pattern of lousy Kramer plots as well.

Two things made me laugh:

(1) Before Puddy answered the phone, he was just sitting, staring into space (brings to mind when he and Elaine were on the plane and he turned down her offer of reading material. Elaine:"You're just gonna stare at the back of the seat in front of you?" Puddy: "Yeah, that's right." [paraphrasing])

(2) Jerry's quick response to Kramer's question about radish roses.

Puddy: "Yeah, that's right." [paraphrasing])

man, that puddy is one funny dude. his delivery is impecable.

.I like this one , there's a lot going on. The return of Peggy, the step nine deal and the good naked bad naked thing . The only thread that is too weird is Kramer in his shower.

My favorite scene is when Jerry Asks Elaine as she comes into Monks "what's wrong with my body?" and the immediate reply of Elaine ; "chicken wing shouder blades....." I also love the "The female body is a work of Art ....line"

I give it a 7.5
