Sure, the Emmys and all. Nice speech. BUT: Did anyone notice that the USA weekend article had both a picture of Seinfeld as Superman on the cover andthe first paragraph ended with the phrase "master of his domain." Coin- cidence? I think not.

Seinfeld reads this group, but is silent (perhaps not knowing how to type).

He has a good publicist, who reads this group.

Another possibility: the author of the article is familiar with "The Contest" and has nothing whatever to do with Usenet/Internet.

we all know of jerry's obsession with superman, so it's only obvious that the man of steel and master of domain would come together at some point, even without our help. terms like "master of " and "king of" always appear in superhero context. therefore it was a calculated coincidence...
