Books on S/F

Amazon.com is showing THE SEINFELD UNIVERSE now out-of-print (already).

Another book, however, is still available: THE ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY SEINFELD COMPANION. Question, however: Is this book merely a rehash of that great May 30th 1997 Entertainment Meekly with the episode guide?

BTW: My search at Amazon yielded a new book "not yet published," SEINFELD: THE TOTALLY UNAUTHORIZED TRIBUTE, NOT THAT THERE'S ANYTHING WRONG WITH THAT by David Wild. I 'spect this is the same author whose book on FRIENDS was very good. Maybe I'll wait for the new book to come out.

But would anyone recommend any of the other books?

I have the Seinfeld Companion book and it was published well before the May, 1997 magazine. The book is a lot of fun but it only goes through episode 61, The Pilot, which aired on May 20, 1993.

I, too, enjoyed the Companion.  It includes a sort of Sein-dictionary
with many of the major phrases and objects and concepts with their
descriptions, and relevence to the series as a whole.  At the end,
there's a brief synopsis of each episode (much like the May 97 list)
but, as BraveHeels said, it stops at "The Pilot".   If ever there was
a book SCREAMING for a 'Part II', this is it.

There is also the Seinfeld Aptitude test. It is a whole book of trivia questions, ranging from very easy to extremely hard. It's ok, but if you want to collect Senfeld books, u have to have this one

There is also "letters from a nut". By Jerry (we think) it's a hillarious bunch of letters and responses. He never admitted to writing it though...
