No Superman episodes?

This was actually once considered an Urban Legend, until someone pointed out that there were -no- examples of Seinfeld episodes where there isn't a Superman in it somewhere (it's been dropped from both snopes and the acfu webpages). However, if there were episodes which didn't have a Superman in it, I think the most likely candidates would be:

The Hamptons -- IIRC, Jerry's apartment is never shown. I think he might have been reading a Superman comic book at one point, though.

The Pilot -- The apartment set was different, the statue or magnets may not have been present (not sure about this, though)

Cases that don't count:

The Trip (1) and The Finale (2), since these are really only one episode (as they were originally shown), they both have scenes in Jerry's apartment at one point.

Anyone else confirm/deny this, any other examples?

There are a lot of examples including all the episodes that didn't feature Jerry's apartment, such as The Parking Garage, The Chinese Restaurant, etc.

i think that there is a superhero *reference* in every episode, including an actual superman spotting. I heard that a long time ago too and i have every episode on my computer, and scrutinized it because i have no life. I dont think i found an episode without at least a reference to super heroes, however vague.

Hmm, I still think it's a myth. You'd have to stretch it pretty far to find a superhero reference in a number of episodes, let alone a Superman reference. For example, where is the superhero reference in The Parking Garage? Or in The Airport?

The Green Klein Bike hanging in Jerry's apartment at some point in the history of the series is in MORE episodes than Superman figure of any type OR any verbal reference to the Man of Steel. Dfrank
