alt.binaries.multimedia.comedy.seinfeld

I tried finding this newsgroup but no luck (Google or AOL). Does anyone know how to access it? (on a Mac here)

Well, it is a binaries newsgroup, I don't think Google carries them, I thought AOL did but you just can't get anything off their.

What you really need is a premium news server and a binary newsreader then you'll be in business!

Oh, yeah. You can access this newsgroup through Google. Its URL is http://groups.google.com/groups?group=alt.tv.seinfeld. (I have used it on occasion when my ISP's newsgroup server is down.) To check on other newsgroups, go to http://groups.google.com/, and use the search feature.

D'oh! Sorry, I was just trying to be helpful. I didn't realize that I had committed such a big, hefty, stinking faux pas by misreading of - actually, not reading - the subject of your note.

goto a Mac newsgroup....that has activity and ask ur question there..

there is a FAQ floating around that I'm sure someone on there will post for you and tell you what apps you need and such to access the binaries newsgroups..

to get you started go on Versiontracker.com and do a search for news and find a newsgroup reader....then figure out how to use that app and you'll be in business
