Kramer & Newman = Kramden & Norton?

I have this theory that I've been working on: that Kramer & Newman's relationship on Seinfeld is meant to resemble Ed Norton & Ralph Kramden's relationship on the Honeymooners. Kramer = Norton, while Newman = Ralph. (even the names are similar, but reversed). Simply put, Kramer and Newman try some scheme, they screw up, and Newman goes berzerk a la Ralph. For example, there's the time Newman tried to get out of the speeding ticket. He had an elaborate scheme, which Kramer screwed up, and Newman went ballistic.another example woulf be the record shop.
