WHY????

does anyone know why the syndicated Seinfeld's show in such a sporadic order? why cant they just be shown chronologically?

I have heard the shows aren't in order so that it is difficult to put together taped sets. They also edit episodes so they can fit in more commercials. I don't know if the above is fact. I just hear that a lot.

Maybe its one of those attempts to "please everybody" Different fans have their favorite seasons so showing a random sample collection from several different seasons each month may be done to keep people from saying, well I don't like the newer shows and they're all we can expect for a few months so I might as well not watch Seinfeld for a while. This might lead to rating problems if a huge portion of fans weren't watching the show for weeks at a time.
