The finale of Seinfeld started at 8:45 when it comes time for it to be shown in syndication will the first 15 minutes be snipped? I did not catch the clip show so maybe there was a bridge between episodes.

If it hadn't been for all the extra commercials, the episode would have been just a regular hour episode. NBC backed it up 15 minutes so they could sell more commercial time, not because the episode was actually that long.

Perhaps they also did it so that people wouldn't know at what time the show was going to end. I for one got suckered into thinking they were going to die on the plane, but if I had known that the show still had, say, 30 more minutes left, of course I wouldn't have thought that.
I suspect that the final won't be syndicated, just as, to the best of my knowledge, the final MASH episode is never shown in syndication. Supposedly having final episodes is discouraged in syndication, as they make it harder to run a series in strip.

Well, obviously, they could have a three part show in syndication... (~22 minutes of show).. that would even allow a bit of cutting (unfortunately)..
