Seinfeld - The Trivia Show

I was watching an old episode of All In The Family the other night. Archie mentioned to Edith that while they were "courting" he used to take her to that Chinese restaurant Hop-Sings...!

If you remember the episode of Seinfeld The Communist, Ned The Communist gets black listed from Hop-Sings's.

So I started wondering how many trivia references there are in the set of Seinfeld episodes, here is what I came up with:

1.Hop-Sings - All In The Family 2.Evelyn from the "Stella" episode - Played on Dick Van Dyke Show 3.Superman - Superman Show

Can you think of any more?

Yes, yes, dont stop, we want the hundreds. Well, maybe we could restrict the thread not by whether it was TV references, news references, movie references, but by whether it was used satirically? Or maybe they all were used that way. This is part of the genius of the show. I guess I'd call them more than trivia references because they call back a memory that enriches the episode - Suellen's bra not fitting (news reference to OJ), etc etc. It would be great if someone could make a comprehensive list of these or we could do this as a thread and then someone put together everyone's contributions? I'm fascinated about the ones that I DON"T get because I either didn't notice or didn't know what was referred to. Cynth
