Anybody notice that sometimes they cut stuff from the syndicated versions of episodes? (sorry if this is an old topic, I'm new here). I guess they do it for time or whatever. Is there a list of them anywhere? Two I've noticed recently are: 1) In the episode where J Peterman's mother dies (The Bosco/ATM code episode) there's the scene where George can't come up with a lie and has to dine one-on-one with Peterman. Recently, in syndication, they cut out the part where George, looking bored, tries to swerve the conversation with Peterman off Peterman's traveling rants and onto the topic of sports. They then cut to Jerry watching a baseball game in the apartment and you can hear the announcer say: "You gotta love sports." But by cutting out the part where George says it they ruin the joke, in my opinion. 2) This one I just noticed recently because on a network I don't usually watch Seinfeld re-runs on, on a weekend showing, I saw a scene that I haven't seen probably since it originally aired. In the episode, Kramer puts the Japanese tourists in the drawers after they have too much sake in the hot-tub and spend all their yen on cowboy hats (also the episode with Jerry's royalty checks from the Super Terrific Happy Hour), and the last scene of the show is a come-back-from-commercial to a large black doctor in an ambulance who gets distracted, by the song "Witchy Woman", from performing lifesaving work on Elaine's then-boyfriend (the Carl Farvemann sycophant) who got hit with the axe. But before that there's a scene where Jerry and Elaine sing "Desperado" to him to try and revive him and he passes out at Jerry's table. That part is always cut out in syndication. Anyway, are there others that I'm missing? I've noticed they do this in the Simpsons too, where I've at least once seen them cut out one of the funniest lines in an episode, one of my all-time favorite Simpsons lines actually. So, just wondering if there's a list of these for Seinfeld or some good ones that often get cut.
