soup nazi not that good

I love Seinfeld, but I was not that impressed with the Soup Nazi episode. I thought that the Marathon runner was much better.

Maybe a New York cultural thing, but we thought it was a RIOT. Especially since there is a real Soup Nazi, Al Yeganeh, who is so much like the episode guy it's incredible. He's been well known in these parts for years, for his unbelieveable soups, and his strange attitude.

The Letterman show is written near his shop, by some of his clients. NBC was using some of the same writers for Seinfeld and Letterman, hence the Soup Guy.
