Elaine Loves George (New Evidence)

In the hour long episode in which George tries to hook up with Marrissa Tomei something happens which has been widely mis-interpeted. I'm referring of course to Elaine becomming passionate when she finds out about the fancy car Jerry bough his dad.The un-hip thought this either Elaine was a golddigger or that the writers had struck a false note. Ha!!! Elaine,if not wealthy,is at least affluent & as Jerry's ex girl friend had a good idea of Jerry's finances.The real reason is that this was a ploy on her part to make George jelous.

When Susan asked Elaine if she was having an affair with George Elaine responded with nervous laughter.She had been found out by her fellow woman. Susan's feminine rader caught the hidden truth,Elaine had the hots for the Lover boy from the Queens!

But Dave didn't Elaine argue with George? The argument only proves the love Elaine has for George having the closeness that is familar to all married couples.People who are close to you can bug you in a way that is impossible to those you really hate.

I agree. There will never be a hookup between George and Elaine unless it's the series ending episode. If you remember M.A.S.H., all characters did the opposite in the series ending episode. I would prefer an ending more like Cheers.

Dave, I agree with Ms. Bombay. You're coming to conclusions based on assumptions and turning it all upside down. *ELAINE TOLERATES GEORGE*. She has no love interest in him whatsoever. Trying to make George jealous? Elaine could care less about that. Her interest in Jerry increased because of the discovery about his wealth. When talking to Susan about an affair with Elaine, she laughed nervously because of the horror of the idea. An argument as a basis of love? C'mon, be serious. Yes, people in love argue, but people who dislike each other argue much more. I don't think there is anything to substantiate Elaine liking George as anything more than "Jerry's friend."
