Fans debate whether George actually has a sister or if he invented one as part of his pattern of lying, noting he's mentioned a brother before but created a fake dead sister excuse in the NBC meeting.
Last night on The Virgin episode George offers up the excuse of a dead sister to get them out of the NBC meeting. Do you think George really has a sister? OR
Is this just part of the total fabric of deceit that is George's life? Most people use a grandparent death as an excuse because it is assumed most people do have grandparents. Why risk a double lie (no sister & no death) ? George has brought up his brother before so maybe George has a sister.

Of course not. As he has said numerous times, all his life is a lie. He did make an apparently genuine reference to a BROTHER in one episode, although we never meet this brother or even hear his name. As to other sibilings...Elaine has one who we never meet but see her talking to on the phone. Jerry refers on a couple of occasions to an older sister (he has one in real life as well, who happens to be his accountant). Kramer has no siblings we know of...can you imagine what a brother or sister of Cosmo Kramer might be like? ;-)
