Cacophony Society?

I think Seinfeld ought to do one episode where he starts out making fun of those bizarre words in the English vocabulary that seem to have stuck around, rather than faded out with their cousins (like "thou", and "whom"). Take "cacophony" or "telephony". I'm sorry, but I'd have a tough time telling someone I was in the "telephony" business. "Yeah, it's not a *real* telephone company, but who cares? We get paid!"

I gather the theme of this thread is what Seinfeld characters could credibly appear on what Twilight Zone episodes.

How about George in the William Shatner role in the episode where Shatner is afraid of flying and sees an Abominable Snowman-like creature on the wing sabatoging the plane and he can't convince anyone of it because they all think he's paranoid and crazy?

Instead of an Abominable Snowman, George would see Lloyd Braun on the wing of the plane.

It wasn't an Abominable Snowman, it was a Gremlin, and I believe the episode's title was "Terror at 5,000 feet." This episode was re-done for the Twilight Zone movie, and there is an extremly funny parody on one of the Simpson Halloween specials, I believe that one is called "Terror at 5 1/2 feet."
