Bubble Boy

Who do you think the Bubble Boy was? I didn't see him in the credits. I think it's Clint Howard again, and they couldn't show his face, because with Seinfeld continuity, he'd have to be the Smog Strangler.

I was happy to see Brian Doyle Murray (Gus from GAL) again. He was acting just like Gus!!!

I gotta tell ya I have not been too impressed with the shows so far this season. That is until last nights episode. I laughed so hard they had to give me another shot of hemoglobin! Everyone was in top form and the writing seemed to be back on track.

Favorite moments:

In the diner:
	Bubble Boy's father and Elaine start crying, Elaine hands out
	napkins to dry their eyes, Jerry (who is not very interested
	in the whole thing) uses his napkin to wipe his mouth.

In Jerry's apartment:
	Jerry: He's a bubble boy! He lives in a bubble!
	George: Boy!

At the cabin:
	Kramer crawling through the window. (I'm a sucker for physical
	comedy).

At Bubble Boy's house:
	George: I'm no prude, sweetheart. [Snaps fingers] I can swing
		with the best of 'em.

Hey, did anyone else notice that the person who really popped Bubble Boy's bubble was Susan, George's girlfriend?

You all missed one of the better parts of the episode: George's fascination with making "Good Time".

Or: "I don't think he likes her as much as he likes 'it'."

This seems to be a new aspect to their relationship.

Actually, I was expecting the Trivial pursuit fight to be over the sufficiency of an answer instead of a misprint. They are much more common.

Finally, the best series of lines was:

Father: "we were watching you on the Tonight Show when..." Jerry: "You got into the bubble with him?" Father: "No, the TV is outside the bubble." Jerry: "Oh, I thought it was more like an igloo." Father" "No, it's just a plastic barrier." Elaine (crying): "Who has the remote? Father: "He does." Elaine: "The remote goes thru the bubble?" Father: "Of course." Jerry: "So you have no control over the tv?" Father: "Yeah, sometimes it's frustrating."

Just a guess at the dialogue. But a good exchange nevertheless.

Tony Pappenfuss who played one of the"Daryls" on Newhart is also in this episode. He is the second of two men who come into the diner at the end of the show. He even got a couple of lines!

Brian Doyle-Murray has done a lot of TV shows and movies. You may have seen him in Caddyshack or on SNL. He was also in JFK (I never saw it, but I think he played Jack Ruby). You can also find him in bit parts in all kinds of movies that have ex-SNL folks in them (Like Razor's Edge).

Just to add one more thing that Brian Doyle-Murray has been in (and hysterically I might add) - In National Lampoon's Vacation, when the Griswalds stay in those two "musky" cabins, Brian is the guy who runs the camp sight (eating watermelon).

Don't forget that Brian Doyle Murray was in Wayne's World as the owner of Noah's Arcades!!

Brian Doyle Murray is Bill Murray's brother. He's been in Caddyshack and lots of other minor roles including the arcade owner in Wayne's World.

Did anyone else think it was strange that Kramer showed up at the cabin with a stack of pies? Considering Jerry and George made up the whole pie thing (at least I thought they did), leave it to Kramer to actually find pies.
