Obviously you are not a true fan. The writing is still great and the actors are just getting better after 7 years. Some people hate any change - this season is only second to two seasons ago.

While I agree that the acting is getting better (Jerry is getting better at keeping a straight face, at the very least), the writing has for the most part gone downhill. The characters are too nasty, too over the top-- shadows of their former selves.

And if this means I'm not a true fan, so be it--I'd rather leave my critical faculties intact than mindlessly accept anything labelled "Seinfeld".

I kinda liked Jerrys grinning. Anyway, "The Comeback" and "The Money" have been poor examples of Seinfeld. I think it takes a pure fan to say that. I do think, even without Larry David, the show should show some improvement after this uneven season. We have gotten a lot of great episodes (the little kicks, the package, The Bizzaro Jerry,The Red Light,) that may stand alongside with the past. I miss Larry.

Bizzaro would have been funny for a lot of shows where we might have expected that -- but the charm of Seinfeld was the ability to be funny in a show that was relatively about "nothing". Bizzaro was gimmicky, as have a few of the shows I've seen this season.
