The best actor on Seinfeld, make that television today, has got to be Jason Alexander "George Costanza"...
Everyone on the show is always picking on Jerry Seinfeld's terrible acting. Yet, he gets nominated for a best actor emmy. Weird ey?

Yeah, what is the deal with that? I don't think he's a bad actor, he acts very natural and if something is funny, you can usually see the smirk on his face. His part wasn't meant to be serious. He (and his character) knows that he's the one that causes alot of the trouble (well, starts it anyway) And I find myself doing the same things all the time. There is no need for great acting in the show anyway. It's the situations that are funny, and besides, it's not billed as a drama anyway.
Yeah exactly. And whenever we see that smirk on his face just
adds more interest to the show, it's fun to see the actors just fool
around and not try to be the best.

I remember that, it was quite funny. The bit with the bowl and the cereal... eating while talking...
Sitting up straight, doing nothing: "I don't know, that idea sounds half-baked"
is not quite as funny as
Eating cereal, talking underbreath as he takes a bite: "I don't know, " puts cereal in mouth "<underbreath> that idea sounds half-baked"
It was very funny with the drawing the comedy plan on the television... did anyone else see this (when Seinfeld was on Letterman (old on NBC))
